Purely out of curiosity, why no surefire suggestions?

I have an x300 on my duty pistol. I prefer the TLR-1's beam pattern and mechanism (flipping down for momentary instead of pushing forward). The only reason I use the x300 is because it was a birthday present and therefore free.

can't complain about my TLR1, at all.

I want to try one of the surefire x400's though.

It is, since that post I got the 400 irc, like it so far.

I have an Insight M3 - 2 actually - compared to the Streamlight TLR-3, the light is yellow in color as opposed to the white of the LED. The TLR-3 uses a different battery - it's a CR2 which is smaller than a CR123. I prefer the Streamlight over the Insight, I guess there's a reason they've been discontinued by Insight...

That looks mint. I just bought another TLR1 for my new Glock 17.

Looks good on the 34..I have one o a 19 with the dg switch. I like it so far. Best IR illuminator on the market. IMO
