(I read through this before posting and yes, it's a total Flex on the Poors! Though I'll be dead soon so i guess it doesn't matter. Hope to see you all at my funeral! I'll be the guy in the closed coffin as I'm not sure if fire, acid or drowning will be on the menu) ![Laugh [laugh] [laugh]](/xen/styles/default/xenforo/smilies.vb/012.gif)
You know, I've come to realize that I have a problem with vintage firearms and as such I have absolutely no business joining online auctions. Unfortunately though I didn't listen to my own advice and was glued to the computer this weekend watching the Rock Island Armory auction. They were auctioning off over 4000 firearms from the Revolutionary War, Civil War, Old West, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam as well as some modern firearms and sprinkled in around 40 NFA items. It was gun Nirvana. I told myself I was going to go for one thing and get it. Before I knew it it was two things and then three. I did all I could and finally stopped myself from getting a fourth.
In the end this is what I won.

I almost went for this but held off. Maybe next time around, next year, maybe. That is if my wife doesn't kill me first. Definite possibility.
If I really had any balls, I should have bid on this. Damn, would it have been nice to add to the collection.
She went for a cool $26K
