Well-stocked in everything but the 08 only have a couple hundred rounds of that. It use to be my dear gun. Have not hunted rifle since I moved back from Maine.

I try to keep the types I own to as low a number as possible.
Easier to keep track of and stay in stock with 22lr, 12 GA, 9mm and 5.56 being the most important.

Cool idea for a thread!

Just scrolling through and it took till halfway through the third page for someone to mention 300blk?!! Poor form NESers!!! And I don’t think I saw 270 mentioned period, though I did just scan the thread.

No, but there have been plenty of other oddballs mentioned by others and myself. Haha
I maintain .300blk is for chodes just like the dimensions of that cartridge. (Joke)

I've thought about 300BLK, just can't bring myself to order an upper. Then, I'd have to go down the road of stocking another caliber. Trying to standardize a bit with common calibers that I already have lots of brass and ammo and reloading capabilities for. Maybe someday but not planning on it.

I’m planning on a 300blk build solely for the purpose of an 80%. The uppers are not too pricey in my eyes and the fact that only the upper will need to be changed is adequate. Who knows how far 300blk will move in popularity for the long term? 5.56/2.23 is vastly more abundant.

Since I don’t reload and have the space to spare I can support this. When you are stocked to the max with reloading components for certain calibers to easily process I can see it becoming tedious and redundant though.
 
I don't believe I missed anything but I'm not currently in the magazine. I usually keep minimum volumes around 100 and some of these calibers may get near 25,000. I may have a problem...

Took a lineup shot. Missing 45ACP, 6.5 Carcano (thought I had some in the safe), 303 Brit and 7.7 Jap. The other 3 calibers I'm missing because I haven't loaded them in a while. Gotta get on that...

i reload everything except 7.62x39. i do have close to 1500 rds of 44 mag factory only because 4 seasons had a sweet deal on a used redhawk a couple of years back, always wanted to replace the one i let go years ago. after i paid and heading out the door, carl comes running after me. "you know that comes with ammo, right? they told you?" no...but i'll certainly take it. boxes of different brands of ammo. a couple boxes had 1 or 2 rounds gone, but i think i ran into one of those deals where someone bought it, tried it and didn't like the recoil, so...my gain. even came with a 20 ct box of critical duty, lol.

this was around the time 4 seasons had the blued redhawk i wanted and one of you bastards snagged it. pretty sure it was radtekk cause a few hous after it went missing from the showcase he put up photos of his "new" blued redhawk. i've almost gotten over that, buddy. and didn't you have that up for sale last year? if i only had the cash at the time...
 
you know how i ramble, sorry for hi-jacking, i'll butt out of the thread after this. in reference to my post above. i was looking through the ammo i got with the redhawk and came across a box of ppc from serbia??? never heard of it before. 300gr jacketed soft points with 19 missing from the box. that was probably the straw that broke the guys back. after those he ran down and traded the gun in. those got to be brutal.
 
A few years ago I had a 50 found box of federal .22lr. Thought I’d save it and retire early... sniff

I've kept my 22lrn supply to over 10k even through Obamacare and post sandy. The price is down now......time to buy.
 
.22 Mag/LR/Short, .32 S&W, 9mm, .45ACP, 12 Ga slug/shot, .223/5.56, 8mm Mauser(Yugo), 8mm Lebel(1916 Berthier).

Don't use the Berthier often as the ammo, 8X50R, is hard to find, expensive, and it kicks like a mule.
