What would you guys put as wall hangers in your house?
I'm thinking along the lines of more historic than tacticool.

I have a replica Kentucky Long Rifle which fits the bill nicely.

Perhaps a gun from the Civil war as well?

Any guns stand out as being very significant in US History?

I have a 20 gauge musket I made nearly from scratch hanging on the centerpost between my living room and kitchen. Really cool. I also have an old damascus coach gun from the 1880s on a rack in the bedroom. I'd upload a photo but that seems to be easier said than done here. The best wallhangers in MA are those which are either primitive firearms or non-firearm, pre-1898 antiques

This was always one of my favorites...

Flintlocks make the best wall hangers in my opinion so you got it covered. Maybe a Lever-Gun and a Double Barrel too. Cavalry Sword to top it off.

Maybe a fire extinguisher case with one of those 37mm M79 replicas in it too.

I put together replicas of an 1860 army colt, a wrist-breaker saber, and their holster and scabbard for my brother's wall.
Wish I could have afforded the real thing instead of replicas, but they made a good display.
