What are the black arrows and green blobs?

What is the significance of the black arrow(s) and green blob(s) under user names in each post? Like these . . .

well the green boxes are when you get alot of positive reputation points, the more you get, the more boxes...I don't think I have ever seen an arrow before tho

MAGG, I think the green blob the OP is referring to is your Avatar... I have never seen a green arrow either.

Black arrows shouldn't be there... you've got an image jacked up in your cache. It should just be a different colored blob.

Safari is always a little odd about things. I'll check it out on my ipad at work tomorrow and see if I can't figure out what's happening.

I just verified on my iPad running 8.0.2 and I'm not seeing the same thing you are... clear out your cache on the iPad and see if that helps anything. Settings->Safari->Clear History and Website data

Thanks, Shorty. It cleared up the next day without me doing anything. I'll keep clearing history/date in mind for the future.
