What did you do in the reloading room recently?

I'm hoarding, expecting a corn cob shortage soon. I've done thousands of pistol and rifle cases, and am surprised how long this stuff lasts. I do have about 40 gals worth of mixed rifle cases to do yet, not to mention several large bins of different pistol calibers. I could slow down on shooting to catch up, but that's not happening. What I need is a larger tumbler.
When the socialism takes full hold and everyone is eating the corn cobs and wiping their ass with the husks you’ll be a king!

.223 by the gallon. Both 55gr and 62gr. Now I need to get a few more ammo cans......the cycle never stops.

I picked up 10 50cal cans recently.

Now, just need to find someone with 3 dillon 1050s setup for 9, 45 , and 223 so i can fill them up !

Jacketed 9mm bullets are available from the same vendor that I just ordered plated 9mm bullets from.
Their site shows both in stock - there is a drop down that warns that due to volume expect extended shipping times;
I'll see what that means...

I ordered these last Thursday, (the 17th), and I just got emails with the tracking numbers. Today's only Monday in case you've lost track.

So one of the local shops had a coffee can full of cast 158(ish) grain 38 semi wadcutters from an estate sale for a nice price that I couldn't resist. I don't have bullet lube. But I do have automatic transmission assembly lube. This is fine, right?
I pulled out my finest 7 times fired Federal 38 cases, deprimed and sized them, trimmed all to 1.150", then loaded up with CCI500s, 3.8 grains of Titegroup, and set the bullets at the crimp groove for a 1.460" OAL and gave a mediumish crimp. We'll see if they can find their way to some steel plates. Haven't used these bullets before, or Titegroup, so we'll see how it works out. Titegroup really meters nice through the 550 though.

Should be fine. That'll keep you under 1000 fps.
Titegroup burns hot so you might burn the bare bottoms.
Might smoke a lot and smell like cat piss, but who cares. RUN IT!
I forgot the battery for my chronograph when I went to the range today, so no data.

I normally shoot with just ear plugs when I'm shooting handguns outdoors, unless I'm running 357 magnum. But woo these were loud. My ears were ringing and I hadn't brought muffs to double up, so I only put 5 rounds each through my snub and my 6" 586. But otherwise everything seemed fine if a little smoky. Will try again another time when I can get some numbers and I bring a little more earpro.

Finally, listen to my friends and began my reloading journey. After a few races to the start line, I finally went from prepping brass to firing my own 147gr 9 mm Luger rounds downrange. With much advice and training from some good people, my newly loaded rounds worked. Next will be rifle rounds!

Rifle is a PITA but still worth it

I don't own a black gun (anything in .223 Remington, for that matter), so do these subsonic loads (TB, TG, etc.) function in an auto loader. I expect they will fire, but do they operate reliably in your ARs?
In a bolt gun, the bullet only need exit the barrel, but aren't you transforming your center fire into a .22 LR with these loads?

That loader is a thumb saver.
Zero issues with .45, but I use one for .38.

Indeed. I sent a GP100 to TK Cylinder to have it cut for moon clips. Package included machine work, loader, unloader and (10) moon clips. Really first rate work, great turnaround, great communication and reasonable price. They are "the name" for moon clips as far as I'm concerned.

They do not cycle an auto loader.

I used my loads in one of the Troy Industries Pump Action AR rifles, and it was loads of fun with a suppressor.

Essentially yes, it becomes a hard hitting Spitzer .22LR. I never had the chance to chronograph these rounds.

Is that Bulleit bourbon? Now that's a shot!
Evan Williams. The Jefferson’s Ocean was polished off right before that.
I guess busting someone’s balls when your bourbon glass is close by doesn’t work out that well.
Hindsight says the Lanolin case lube I used for sizing should have stopped me from drinking it but I guess I wasn’t that worried that the time.
