Works OK with heavy powder charges, e.g. 44 magnum with H110, but bullet and brass weights can combine to muddy the waters when there's only like 5 grains of powder that's supposed to be in there. Probably you can find some empties at the bottom of the weight distribution. But ultimately there's only two ways to be sure.
