Alright, I know what it means but what does it mean to me to own some? I bought a small box of used Glock mags, no hi caps actually, just stuff where I didn't want to put up the money to buy new stuff for 26s, 27s, and 36s. I got a bunch of law enforcement only mags for the 27. Can I use these and maybe sell a few in good conscience without getting myself or someone else in trouble for having these?

I bought a used Gen2.5 Glock 27 that was a Police trade in and it came with one LEO magazine only. If you want to sell one of your let me now. I would like to have two of them .

In Mass there is no regulation preventing you from having them provided they are not hi caps made during the ban. I have a Restricted/LEO marked AR lower. As long as it is configured post ban anyone can possess it as a complete rifle. I think there are import laws (i.e. on certain items like AR lowers made in Canada) that can be imported if designated for law enforcement. Some of these end up in civilian markets. Maybe there are similar regs on the magazine.

LEO only mags, for the most part, were created during the Clinton administration during the time of the Federal AWB. If a mag has LEO only stamped on it, it's a pretty good indicator that it is not a preban mag. This means literally jack squat in most states, but can potentially mean a lot in MA.

If they are less than 10 rounds, standard for a G27 is 9 rounds, then I don't see why you can't own them, even in this terrible state.

Yeah, that's the caveat that I forgot to mention. The stamp itself is really meaningless. It just serves as reasonable suspicion, so to speak, that the mags aren't preban. If they are >10 rounds, that might pose issues.
