I am used to seeing many rifles labeled MA & CA non-compliant

I wasn't aware that Connecticut had restrictions on regular free-states rifles.

I ask because of this SIG522 Target rifle.

CA Compliant: No
MA, NJ, NY, CT Compliant: No.

Yep, we can't have a folding stock, flash hider, bayonet lug, or threaded barrel on a post ban rifle. Too many "evil" features.

tommygun (while interesting and cool historical piece) looks and feels dumb in semi-auto while it weighs as a small barrel of bricks.
you can almost use it with more success as a club [smile].

there are better sub-guns out there cheaper and lighter and more usefull.

i like tommygun myself (GI version), but from the distance, i wouldn't want to buy or own one myself.

I agree with you mike. even though they are compact, they are very heavy. I'm guessing it was done this way to keep the cyclic rate in full auto down to a reasonable number.

A friend has a SBR'd Kriss. Thats a very nice shooting .45.
