I thought I'd bring this up again, just in case 11-3-20 goes haywire, and WROL emerges.

In my SHTF bag I'll have:

1 dozen Johnny Walker Red nips
1 box xtra large condoms
25 Slim Jims
6 Romeo & Julieta Churchill cigars
4 changes underwear (one/week/month)
3 socks
1 'nother dozen JWR nips
1 box large condoms (eyes were bigger than.....you know)
poncho ($1.99 from Disneyland in 1970s)
1 Penthouse magazine (also from the 70s)
1 box matches
1 qt gasoline
1 'nother box matches
for protection: 2 rape whistles and a rock
1 box medium condoms (my wife weighed in on this purchase)
1 fifth JWR

And if I'm feeling crazy, maybe I'll throw in a real CO2 BB gun to take on the savage badassery dregs that will creep out of the cracks (Cambridge).

Please be serious, if you like, although clearly I'm not a good role model.

In reality, I have a case with lots of Mountain House food, canned goods that don't expire for a couple years, first aid, TP, and .22, .45, and 7.62x39 G&A.

I was able to get bourbon at the "Chop Block" restaurant, after signing into the log book and becoming a member. Same thing at Queen Wilhelmina Lodge.

I'm not much of a liquor type guy, but the nips probably ain't a bad idea. Hard to keep a 30 pack of Bud cold in a backpack all the time.....

This is my bag.

2 6" OLAES bandages

2 doses of Narcan
1 CPR mask
1 pair trauma shears
1 foil blanket
6 pairs nitrile gloves
1 pair leather gloves
1 pair safety glasses

All tucked into a $7 Walmart tool bag
My idea of SHTF may vary from yours

Looks good, but I don't see a Sharpie for the tourniquets or foreheads...

Enough to to keep me alive in the elements in winter in New England for 3-5 days. If I haven’t found sufficient shelter, a water source or been resupplied in some way, then SHTF becomes up shits creek without a paddle for me. I am working on a bug out location that will be my hidden rebel base.

Fishing Pole. Still looking for the Reel
