I have a S&W 629 Classic DX that I bought new and have maybe put <500 rounds through. I'd say it's probably as close to excellent as a gun that's been shot and handled so little. I can't find any sales on Gunbroker and my Blue Book won't be here until next week. Can anyone provide a blue book value on this one?

It has the proof target, original box, 2 grips (1 wood, 1 rubber) manuals, cards, cleaning tools (still in sealed bag), extra front sights, etc, that it came with from the factory.

Many thanks for your help.

Please reread my initial post.

Here is what SCSW quote for 629 classic DX.

ANIB. $650
Exc. $500
VG $435

Your gun is produced from 1991 and later. If you have the earlier 629 no dash (1979) or limited production 629-1, you might fetch more $$.

I saw a gap between these prices and what I was seeing online. I just received my Blue Book (33rd ed.) and it shows 100% at $900 and 98% at $800. These prices are much more in line with what I was seeing in terms of pricing online.
