I saw an Arsenal SLR-101 for sale this weekend and it looked identical to my SLR-95, with the exact same thumbhole buttstock.

Anyone know the differences between them that would justify the name change ????

SLR-95 like mine:

One mag has a grid pattern molded into it and one doesn't.

One has the rear sight in a different setting.

How many are there to find and do we win a prize? Does anyone have a red crayon?

There aren't any cheap Arsenal AKs, that's for sure. I've got a "ban style" carbine of theirs with a US made milled receiver.

Different sling stud on the stock (maybe just bad picture)?

There's your problem: one has a thumbhole buttstock, but on the cheaper version you have to make due with a butthole thumbstock. It's a subtle difference, easily overlooked by the untrained eye. Trust me, you don't want to get "stuck" with the latter...........[/stupidity]
