Shadow 2 Black & Blue, Optics Ready.

Bought used, don't know the history, can't ask the seller.

There's a barrel bushing that's not the same as other CZs that won't let me remove the barrel from the slide, and it's not obvious to me how/if the bushing comes out.

And the sear is different, it's silver, and has a set screw that looks like it adjusts clearance to the safety.

What do these parts indicate? Is this a factory tweak, or did the PO swap out parts? Should I look for other non-standard parts?

There's probably >$300 in Cajun upgrades, FWIW.

First you do not remove the bushing to remove the barrel. It's very tight but can be done.

That's what I figured, but.. man, it really feels like I'm forcing something in a way it doesn't want to be forced.

That's the replacement cgw bushing. The adjustable sear is also part of the cgw pro kit.

Nice. None of that was listed in the description! Win!

Can't tell but I'm not seeing red loctite on the adjustable sear set screw. You may want to double check that.

Here are the instructions:

The safety works fine, nothing wrong with the sear as far as I can tell. It’s removing the barrel from the slide that’s challenging

The barrel has lugs in it u need to push it down to free up the lugs, the bushing should have a snug fit (that’s its job) think about it every time u fire it or rack the slide the barrel slides in the bushing so it can’t be that tight

That looks like the same part, I think.

I can't get the barrel out without feeling like I'm going to mess something up though. That can't be right.
Cajun bushing is supposed to be tighter than stock, it is on purpose.
Usually seller would be expected to give you original stock parts as well, if the gun was modified, but it is usually a good mod, not a useless bling type.

I've read this like 15 times and I'm not sure what you're talking about.

I've taken apart a *LOT* of guns, including my CZ75B Ω, I'm familiar with how guns come apart.

The problem here is this: (click for bigger)

barrel-clearance-IMG_0159.JPG

The hood of the barrel doesn't clear the bottom edge (top edge in that picture) of the slide's breech.

Based on other posts I wiggled more and pushed harder (it did not feel right) and the barrel came out. Still didn't feel right.

I've seen bushings that are tight on lockup, but not tight on disasembly, this is a new one on me.

I'd have thought so too. But... Gunbroker. The bling wasn't even mentioned. No idea what the story is.

It looks like there's other bling in it too, This trigger seems to be a CGW part, and the hammer spring is black, instead of sliver. Hard to parse out which fancy kit(s) the PO put in it. The firing pin is only 2.464" long, which is .036" less than the 2.500" CGW says the extended firing pin that comes in the kit is.
