Which grips took better?

Torn between two burls. One brown one grey on a. hard chrome Gold Cup. What's your favorite?

U ever try grips in ebony wood? I had some made for my p238. Looks pretty slick. I finished them in tru oil. If u haven't ever used or seen I can PM u a pic so u can see what it looks like

Of the two choices, brown.

But personally I would prefer the stark contrast of a set of black grips.

Neither. They're both ugly as sin.

Brown on the hard chrome and the grey ones might look better on a black/blued 1911.

I hesitate because I have seen some of your classy holster combinations, so I think you will make either work.

If it were mine I would go with the subtlety of the grey. If it were the brown I like the package you did with this Colt: Classic Colt Commander carry rig.
