Why are gen 4 Glocks on the updated roster

I know the history of Glocks in MA. If Glock was done with MA, why did they submit Gen 4 Glocks for testing, which made the roster if they can't sell them here?

The roster has, as an example, one line Glock 26 and another line gen4 26.

Because some LE agencies in MA want the guns on the EOPS roster before they will buy them. It also lets cops buy them off duty/personal purchase. (Technically, it's more like the dealer can sell them the gun without the dealer getting in trouble, that's a better way of putting it. )

I'm closing this is because these threads are mind numbing and everything is addressed in the compliance FAQ that I wrote in the gun laws section. Bump that thread if you have any other questions. I like to keep all that garbage in one place.
