Will MA compliant M&P 15-22 take a hi cap mag?

I decided to get a new M&P 15-22 to replace the Marlin 22 that my son uses. The Marlin has an 18 round tube, so stepping down to a 10 round clip on a modern firearm is not my desire. I'd like to use the M&P in MA and NH, so my question is, will a MA compliant version take a high capacity magazine that is legal in NH without modification? I'll run the 10 round mags in MA and keep the 25 round mags in NH. If not, I'll buy the hi-cap model and keep it in NH. Thanks for your help.

Yes, it will. It uses the same magazines.

Remember that the cripple version will not have an adjustable stock on it. (Although it can easily be restored to adjustable operation, if you decide to keep the gun in NH forever down the road).

Thanks. I forgot about the stock. They are easy enough to swap out on the fly. I'll buy an adjustable one rather than removing and reinserting the pin. Good deal.
