I have a couple of. Winchester 1906 rifles, and would like to mount a red dot on one of them, using the rear sight dovetail that is on the barrel. I have seen adapters for the Winchester 92 rifle that have a little hole threaded through a dovetail blank and and RMR or some such standard red dot mounting plate you can screw onto it.

Does anyone know of something like this that would fit on the 1906 barrel?

I know its kind of sacrilegious, . but its not a permanent maiming of the gun, can always drive the original rear sight back in at any time.
