Winchester 1917 .30-06 with a lot of unique history. The details: -Rare star-marked receiver. -Original 1-18 dated barrel. -Rifle was given the usual USGI treatment and the rest of the parts are mixed. -Used by the Canadian Officer Training Corps during WW2 and it marked as such(also has the UK-style orange paint to show it's not .303.) -After the war it was sold to Denmark and given their own style of front sight, follower modification, and stacking swivel deletion. -At some point it was brought back to the US by CAI. Overall condition is very good for the age. Bolt is mismatched, bore has strong rifling but is also heavily frosted/pitted. Stock hasn't been touched in a million years. Includes original Remington 1917 bayonet in reproduction scabbard and commercial leather sling. Asking $685/obo for the whole package. Trades considered.
