Picked up a Winchester 290 today for $199. The add stated as new in box, and they weren't kidding. Still has the Winchester string and tag on the trigger guard and was in the original box. Appears to never have been fired. My daughter, 12 yrs old, has been using a 22 single shot bolt action I have to learn on. My other 10/22 has scope on it, and I want her to continue to learn on iron sights. This all meant I was looking for a 22 bolt or semi for her to use, and I am happy with what I found.
