Heard on the radio about a Worcester church, which got in trouble for holding services is planning more services tonight. They are doing this to assert their "freedom of religion", as protected by the US Constitution.

They said people may attend from around other parts of the state, in support.

Now, I wonder what would happen if people happen to show up, wanting to assert other Constitutionally protected rights at the same time.

It was on WTAG. Not sure if they are still talking about it.

Been on Boston news for last couple days. Wednesday night services in the Baptist church are traditional. Should be interesting.

I have not missed a church service in more than 6 weeks. And it's held in an actual church...

I think this post requires some elaboration, sir.

Where and when are you attending services? Do you live in a building that was previously a church and you consider watching a minister/priest bang a hooker on porn hub 'going to mass'?

I'm not asking because i'm interested in going...i'm interested to the level that you might actually be cooler than i originally thought you were...which is now REALLY f***ing cool. breaking the law to worship (and i'm NOT religious) is about the coolest damned thing i can think of right now. f*** the .gov and their bullshit.

I have it on easy street compared to what you guys are going through, and it still sucks ass. i 100% applaud this pastor/preist/minister for what he's doing, and I hope he stays on track. i hope the authorities start to realize that 'this shit aint happenin'...because it aint.

Lol. Nope. Actual church.
My Pastor started live streaming our services like 6 weeks ago and he is not used to it and was sorta nervous with standing before a live camera.
He has a wife and 4 kids that sit behind the camera and its operator. (a younger, tech-savvy Elder)
I had just gotten back from Florida and had no idea things had gotten so "quarantined" when I opened the door and walked into my regular pew.
Everyone looked at me funny (the 7 of them) and I said "No church today?" Not a chuckle out of any of them.
The Pastor then asked if I would mind staying and giving him someone to look out at for feedback. (confidence). I sat back down and was easily 20 feet from anyone else
and the service went very well. Pastor asked if I would mind coming back each week unless I showed 'signs'. Have been doing so ever since. There have been one or two others who have come (and gone) from this little group; always not letting it get over 10 people. (Pastor, family and cameraman included)

Truth be told, I'm very computer illiterate and would not have done well 'streaming'. I've been very happy going to service this way...

But, for what it's worth, I'd show up if we were elbow-to-elbow and everyone was coughing like it was a TB ward.

Several cases from around the country challenging the stay home,no gathering ordinance that were challenged in court and the churches won, courts decision was denial of 1st amendment right freedom of religion. Cases can be found on you tube no less. Good for that pastor sticking his thumb in chicken Charlie's eye and the mayor of Worcester as well. Simple non violence.
