-Stamped "UNITED STATES PROPERTY", "M1911 A1 U.S. ARMY", and "NO. 1575257" on right side of receiver
-Cross canon cartouche is stamped behind the grip on right side of receiver
-Has original WWII contract mag stamped with "S" for Scoville Mfg. on toe of floorplate
The handgun is in excellent condition, 85-95%. Bore is in perfect shape. Very light wear on the average contact points. Minor "idiot scratch" visible. All in all, it is a beautiful piece of WWII history with all original components, not much available in this shape; a very rare collector's item!
