Springfield Armory no longer makes this MA9822 model. To me, it is the best of all worlds. Improvements on the loaded model include National Match trigger, National Match sights, and heavier barrel. The benefits of stainless steel are obvious. I love the beauty of the walnut stock. This was manufactured in March of 2002 and sold as a post 9/11 package which included a heavy duty black nylon carry case, scope mount and scope. One thing about these scopes, is that they were known to fail and this one is in that category. The cross hairs tilt toward 1, 4, 7 and 10 o’clock rather than at 12 and 3, etc. Scope comes with it. I bought this used from Carl at Four Seasons about 6 years ago and I just don’t use it. I have put about 200 rounds through it. Great condition. $2,000.00
