SOLD Born of a partnership between the Gibson Custom Shop and Epiphone, this is an excellent guitar. 90% Gibson for 1/3 of the price. The Gibson Burstbucker Pickups alone retail for $300, and they sound goooooddddd. This was an impulse purchase because I’d read so many good things. This thing does sound and play as good as a Gibson. And it should, it’s basically a Gibson made in China. But at the end of the day, it’s no better than my Gibsons, and I’m not getting rid of them ;). This has never left my home office. Looks brand new.

It’s a 1959 Epiphone Les Paul Outfit in aged dark cherry burst. Manufactured in 2023. Currently selling for $999 at Guitar Center, this is an Epiphone built to 1959 Gibson specs. From the right wood in the right quantities (non-weight relieved mahogany with a full thickness maple cap and long neck tenon) to the full body and neck binding, to the 50's style neck, to Gibson USA pickups (burstbucker 2&3)wired in the 50s style with Mallory capacitors and full size CTS pots - just like a Gibson. It plays and sounds better than some Gibsons I’ve owned.

I bought this one brand new from Guitar Center a few months ago, and it’s just not getting the playing time it deserves. It still looks and plays like a brand new guitar.

Includes Epiphone Hard Shell Case. The case is a little dinged up, and the handle was repaired with a screw that it too long, but it’s the only case GC could find for it, and it protects the guitar just fine.

I’d like $650/bo cash or trade. Interested in .22 handguns, revolvers of any caliber, .22 lever action or pump, lever action in .38/.357 or .45lc. Rifle in .17hmr. Pistol in 5.7. Or any other interesting and unusual firearms in common modern calibers.
