Just wondering if anyone has seen any noticable differences between WWB 45 and American Eagle 45 both in 230 grain? I'm talking TMJ for range use. I shoot glocks and sigs. Thanks BRR

Funny you should ask, we found the American Eagle to run much better through the MAC10/.45 than WWB. Once in a while the WWB would not ignite and it was due to more of a taper crimp at the case mouth than Federal. Keep in mind this sub gun has had over 35,000 rounds through it so I'm sure the chamber is a bit "large". In pistols both were fine. We did not chronograph them.

I like AE 45 but one problem with it is if the wind isn't blowing downrange, your arms will be covered with unburned/partially burned powder flakes at the end of a long range session. [laugh] Heck, sometimes if the sun was shining just the right way I could see a cloud of flakes fluttering through the air after I'd fire a shot. My guess is they're using a good chunk of some kind of slow burning powder in there.
