Most likely elastic Tyvek sleeves and gloves. I've seen it become more and more popular in field dressing big game.

Funny, I didn't notice the sleeve. I will have to ask him. Maybe he was trying to not get blood on him as this was day 1 of a 5 day hunt.

Absolutely if you are dressing one kill. I saw it start with guide services that do multiple kills, over multiple days, and they left on their outer garments due to mosquitoes the size of hummingbirds. Guess where.
