4th Generation Glock announced

Old news. My dealer has had the Glock RTF for months!

RTF isn't a 4th Gen but rather a variation of the 3rd Gen like the SF's.

Well a firearms blog site is anything but official so I guess we'll see when Glock makes them public at SHOT.

Also what is now being referred to as the "4th Gen" has a completely different frame with replacable backstraps like the M&P. Glock is referring to these as 4th Gen and has never referred to the RTF as such. People on the internet dubbed the RTF "4th Gen" on their own.

+1 The RTF is not the 4th gen. The 4th gen is coming with removable backstraps. It is also the first time that glock themselves is officially recognizing different "generations" (Ad's say 4th gen)
