I have a WASR-10 and I just removed the original trigger group and replaced it with one from Tapco. I installed the single hook trigger. Has anyone done this already? After dry firing a firing a few times to check if my installation worked, the pull seems great! I can't wait to shoot it. Does anyone know the difference between Tapco's single and double hook trigger? Any help would be great.

The double hook is used in milled receivers.

I did the same thing with my WASR 10 and it makes a huge difference. For mine it got rid of the horrendous trigger slap and gave it a much smoother and lighter pull. In fact the first time I pulled the trigger I almost didn't realize I did.

IIRC, the double hook trigger is just an added precautionary safety feature that really isn't needed.

You can install a single or double hook trigger in a receiver (stamped or milled), as long as it has the double hook cut-out...

A double hook trigger won't work with a receiver with a single cut out, but it's a simple mod using a small file to make the second cut out.
