ammo for plate shoot, lead SWC or JHP?

I will be attending my first plate shoot in awhile and will be bringing my .45 . I have both 230 gn JHP at 900 fps and 200 gn SWC lead at 875 fps. Which would be a better load for the shoot?

I would use the 200grn SWC. Both bullets will leave the plates begging for mercy but your follow-up shots should be quicker with the lighter, slower loads.

Save the JHPs for defensive practice.
