After watching a few youtube videos on how to install a Competition Spring kit, I went ahead and purchased one on Ebay for my favorite range handgun(Gen3 Glock 17)and installed it myself. Fairly simple process, and took about 15 minutes or so. Everything is installed properly as I went back and double checked everything. The trigger is much lighter than stock, but it does have a creeking sound as I squeeze. Is this a common issue or non issue?. Must I run a few boxes through her to work out the kinks?

What exactly did you install? Trigger spring, fire pin safety spring, and firing pin spring? Did you change the connector?

I just did the same thing on my G27 and had no problems at all. Did you lightly lubricate the pins and contact points when you put it back together?

Reduced power plunger spring
Yes, i did replace the connector. I didnt lubricate, but just got back home from the range and it seems to be fine.

You definitely need to lubricate the connector. I recommend Mobile 1 synthetic bearing grease.
