It's not that I didn't want or "need" another firearm. But when ya are sitting there looking forward to hitting up the S&W range
for the reg IDPA match, and on Monday ya get an email stating it will be a B.U.G. match...
well long story short, after waking up this afternoon( 3rd shifter fun) headed down to a local gun shop and keep eyein the governor.
and had to keep reminding myself that it was to much overkill on wallet and the match. =P Handled 7-8 that would apply under the rules of the match.
With my mitts, none of the semis would work for me. 1 1/2 fingers on the grip aint gonna cut it.
In the end, picked up an LCR. Meaty enough grip, trigger I can live with, can work the different controls with ease... this beat out the bodygaurd revolver mostly
due to the difference in the grips in my hands.
Now to hit up the range the tonight and tomorrow to get used to shooting it before Thursday's match.
