Anybody Seen a New Ruger SR1911?

They look nice online. Got a few more bells and whistles that others in their price range.

I put one on order but were last in line up in the Deep Woods.

Well KMS, not exactly, as a closer read of my question line will reveal. That thread in General was about Mass. Compliance. As I live in Maine I am not interested in Mass. Compliance other than to comisserate with shooters from there who have such draconian restrictions. I did learn that the handgun has to undego MA testing and won't be availalable there for months. So nobody currently living in that state will be able to answer my original question for several more months. You, in NH may be able to see one much quicker. However the original question still stands. As there are more states in New England than Massachussettes that do not require such testing, New Hampshire for instance. I am still curious if anybody has handled them and what they think.

I picked mine up a couple of day ago, and it's a beautiful gun for the money. I think Ruger hit a home run with this baby! Ah, the joy of living in a "free" state.

Yes, I was at cabella's today in East Hartford. It's very nice. Had a great feel to it. They wanted 749.00.
