ARSENAL SGL21-61 AK HELP

It could . But it also could not.

The fed AWB deals with threaded barrels, not threaded front sight blocks.

The SGL21-61 has a threaded front sight block.

Some will play it safe and tack weld/blind pin/silver solder the brake onto the front sight block. But if they are that up in a tizzy about it, they better weld the FSB to the barrel, because it's just held on by pins. You catch my drift?

Bayonet lug is gone. Silver solder or blind pin the brake, and you should be ok. But I am not a lawyer, and I am not going to defend you in court, so you probably shouldn't take my advice.

Good luck out there.

Gawd Damnit. Anyone know of local MA gents that provide these services on the regular?

Flintoid thanks for the response/assist. Pisses me off that the shop sold it to me and gave me the "its compliant, you're all set". Again, I know its on me to know the law... but I am not a fan of the fact I have traveled with even the potential of possessing a non-compliant.

I think I know the shop who sold it and I also think that they know what they are doing. There is a fine line between staying legal and being hyper paranoid. Unfortunately we are all criminals in some way, so if they are out to get you, spent .22 brass stuck in your boot would be as likely charge as any other BS.

Hey guys, I just recently bought an Arsenal SGL31 and the muzzle brake was not welded on (bayonet lugs were filed down though). I was wondering if I really needed to weld the muzzle brake on since the threads are on the front sight block and not on the barrel itself. My friend who also has an Arsenal bought his with the brake welded on and he told me that I should get mine welded too.
