I was curious about a Vertex Standard vxa-210 that I used to use as a backup radio in case my comm panel went. It just sites there now doing nothing I was wondering if it where possible to open up the freq range on this radio? I know the legal part of transmitting on those non aviation freq and I wouldn't just to listen. I was thinking about going to the Gloucester one day test in Oct. Thanks for any info guys.
