OP, you need to trust your kids with their own firearms. If you’re not training them to handle their own self-defense, you’re doing it wrong.

I usually suggest a .380 for newborns up to age 5 mos. Then you can move them up. Good luck!

The work-around is to permanently mount the SBR to the baby carriage, thus rendering it an AOW. Fed tax stamp for AOW and good to go.

Carry on your body...period. If the firearm is concealed in the stroller there is a real chance in a stressful situation you may have to grab the child and run leaving the firearm behind. The firearm should also be IN YOUR CONTROL. While having in the stroller seems fine for this situation, on body or in a purse you are carrying would reduce questions if for some reason you have to talk to LEO's.
