Benelli Nova Youth 20

Hi folks. Does anyone have experience with the Benelli Nova Youth 20 guage ? I'm purchasing for my 11 yr. old daughter who is just starting out.

I'm debating between the Benelli and the time honored classic 870 wingmaster, but like the overall length of the Benellia at 44" compared to 40" in the 870 with LOP at 13" for both.

Any reviews, Good, Bad or Otherwise on the Benelli, Please let me know.

I haven't seen the Nova Youth, but I do know that anything that Benelli makes is rock solid and you can't go wrong.

I love my benellis...wouldn't trade them for any 870 or 500!

Can't go wrong with either. The 870 is a classic design for which you can more easily find new barrels, etc, but the Nova is probably the higher quality gun.

Benellis are known for quality, but I've heard reference from a friend of a friend who purchased the Nova full and had issues with misfeeds and misfires. I like Benelli and just trying to guage if this is a widespread issue with this model or just bad luck for him.
