I have a Beretta 21A in 22 rimfire. When you pull the trigger in double action sometimes it will only move the hammer back a tiny bit and then something "slips" off and the hammer comes to rest. Light strikes on the primer in DA and SA a bunch also. I think that if you squeeze in the right side slightly where an action bar is it appears that the "slips" do not happen. Also, sometimes in SA when the trigger is pulled the hammers doesn't fall until you relax your finger on the trigger and then the hammer comes down with the release of the trigger with no primer strike.
Long and confusing but basically it works about 50% of the time. I would like to find a smith near Worcester rather than try and send it off to the factory. Any recommendations? I don't want to spend $50 in shipping on a $150 gun, let alone the repair from Beretta. Rather spend the cash on the actual repair.
thanks
