You know how there's that one gun that you've sold that you've always regretted? For me, it was two guns: my Beretta 92FS and CX4 Storm Carbine.

The 92FS I sold for a stupid low price back when I thought all I wanted was 45s (my fault, I let the guy low ball me again after the FA-10 was already filled out, and I got raped). I've regretted it ever since, but 92s are everywhere and cheap, and I know I'll wind up with one again.

The CX4 carbine I found with my (now ex) girlfriend at a gun show and bought "for her" on a whim. It was cheap (under $600) and had all the bells and whistles (rails, foregrip, even that awesome looking barrel shroud). She never shot it, but I fell in love with it. Unfortunately it was bought under her name and she decided to keep it when we broke up. No worries, I figured I'd find another one some day.

Well some day never came and I've been actively looking around, and HOLY COW the market on these things is ridiculous. MSRP is $915 and Bud's used to have them at $835 (sold out), but I'll be damned if I can't find one for less than $1,000. I just saw one clear Gunbroker for $2375!!! Granted it had a half dozen high caps with it (http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=323788516), but G** Damn, does that justify 250% over MSRP???

Is there something I'm missing here, or is this just another part of the AWB induced madness?

Everything black and Killy is flying off the shelves at alarming rates and prices.

Ps I could be convinced to sell my 92fs with 3 pre ban mags and 2 10 rounders ;-) pm an offer.

if you don't mind the lack of the high caps I have a HI Point knock off with the ATI stock which is a CX4 knock off for sale in the classifides for a lot less then the cx4's go for. It is fun to shoot.... you can find them pretty cheap.
