BERETTA PARABELLUM DATE?

Just picked up my first 9mm- Beretta 92 FS Parabellum, US mfctr. Looks brand new, but was told it was probably 15years old by dealer. Any info. on this model? Does anybody know where to locate a serial # list ? Couldn't find anything on the berettaforum site. Thanks for any info.

Nice gun.. I've got a new 92fs inox waiting for me at the gun shop for when I can finally finish my LTC. If it doesn't get banned first.

Great, thanks for the link - web site lists mine as"Approx. 1994 " So, is it "Pre-ban" ??

My understanding of the ban is it relates to non-"assault weapons" like the 92FS is only the magazine needs to be per ban. Not the gun.
