I forget, do the MA-compliant Shields always come with that tiny safety lever? Or you can get safety-less versions?

No safety on mine, and I live dangerously in MA and installed the Apex kit in it. Trigger is now a dream to shoot. I'm pretty accurate with it too, even with the shorter sight picture. It's my daily carry. You can get MA compliant without the safety

I would think the HK45 would be a great choice - I've heard nothing but good things about the shootability and comfort of the grip....I'd love a Gen 4 21 too but it's often hard to find those on Armslist near me and at a reasonable price....and it's not Mass Compliant for civilians yet...maybe never will be, like the CZ.
This has been beaten over and over () but I will say it again: There is not a single handgun that is illegal to own in MA.
What about, an AR pistol..?![]()
I'm in the market for a 1911. My question is "what's the best MA compliant 1911?"...I don't see much in my gun shops. A Springfield TRP would be sweet. Even a Dan wesson would be nice.
You dont find too many on here. In MA you are limited to the higher quality 1911's.
They will take a little more effort and ingenuity to obtain.
