My BG380 makes a clicking noise when I walk? It is very noticeable when its quiet. I wear it on the ankle. Does anyone know why or what it is? Thanks, Chris.

Likely a round moving around in the magazine. If it is, your follower isn't holding the rounds up tight to the feed lips of the mag or underside of the slide.

When you pull the mag out, the rounds may tighten up against the feed lips but get compressed again by the underside of the slide when the mag is inserted.

Load the mag into the gun and tap the bottom of the mag to reseat the rounds inside.

It is annoying!

Mine did it too or, more precisely, the mags did it: it's the bottom round in the magazine banging back and forth in the mag tube. I never really tried to fix it, and ended up trading the BG380 for a G23.

Maybe along with the built in laser it has one of those built in counters that measure how many miles you walk

I had one S&W mag out of 4 that would do this very noticeably. Took it apart, cleaned it, stretched the spring just a tad and reassembled. No more clicking. YMMV [wink]

Sounds like its pretty common but is it a problem that needs fixing? I havent fired many rounds through it so I havent noticed any issues when shooting.

Mine only had one bad round out of 300 I shot through, and that was a bad primer. Beyond annoying my wife the clicking never resulted in any operational problems for me.

My Kel-tec P-11 mag sounds like a baby rattle. The follower gets canted to the side, and pushes the rounds unevenly. The result is some in the middle are free to move. a good smack on the table with the heel of the mag usually resets everything and shuts it up.

Excellent advice here! The same thing happened with one of my G17 mags! It can drive you nuts!
