Carry Choice Question

If you measure for a good carry gun is a lunatic's ability to kill a lot of people, then sure, the five seven will suit you just fine. But you probably have different priorities than the rest of us.

Yes, one of my top priorities when choosing a carry gun is it's ability to kill people. Isn't that the point? That said, I'll stick with my larger calibers for now.

I have and carry both a USPc 9 and a .380 PPK. Obviously the PPK is easier to conceal and lighter - but the .380 in that small gun is a lot of recoil...much more than you would expect. I've had new shooters I've taken to the range who say it hurts their hand. And as far as a safety - while the PPK does have one, it is awkward to flick off even in the best scenarios.
The USPc is far easier to hold, fire and manipulate…but of course is larger and thicker.
