Saw on CNN this morning the Maryland police changed the story about the school shooter, now he died from his own gun, and the resource officer’s bullet hit the kids gun, not the kid. Here’s how it went down I think.
FBI: "You need to issue a statement, saying the kid offed himself."
Chief: "Uhh, sir, the resource officer shot him."
FBI: "Well, then he missed, and offed himself."
Chief: "Then where'd the bullet go? He hit him center mass"
FBI: "I don't care, make it happen! We can't have the stupid public thinking a good guy stopped a school shooting with . . . with . . . a gun!"
Chief: "uhh, how about we say the bullet hit the kid's gun, bouncing harmlessly away, and then he offed himself?"
FBI: "I guess that'll work, run it."
