Coleman freeze dried meals

Anyone try these before? Saw them at walmart today so I picked a few up, wondering if theyre safe to eat. Dont usually get coleman products as they typically seem like theyre made by the lowest bidder.

Palatiable could be another issue. Why not pick one up, try it and let us know ?

Mountain House is one (IMHO) one of the better ones. I've stuck with them for over thirty years.

When I checked out the packaging the expiration date was two years.

I believe they are made by Enertia

Shelf life is not very long but the Enertia meals I have tried were excellent.

I had the corn chowda.. it wasn't bad at all.
I do prefer mountain house and alpine air . although these meals seem to ahve increased in price since the last time I bought them.

I did pick a couple up, ill try them out when I go camping in a few weeks. I like mountain house but these were a few bucks cheaper, though its single serving.
