Funny that this thread was just revived. Last week a friend and I went trap shooting and he brought his Montgomery Ward Western Field 16ga pump shotgun that looks like a clone of this one. It's definitely got some age to it, but he shot a 16 or 17 only ever having fired a single round from the gun prior to that, so it's still doing it's job just fine.
Really neat piece, I'd never seen one prior to that and the takedown procedure was cool to see for sure. I've never really been much of a "vintage" gun person, but this thing has kind of a unique charm to it.
