Since I'm too stupid to figure out how to host/post a pdf. - I'll spell this all out for you. If Neptune Cat can post the flyer or send it to me as something I understand, I'll post something more artsy... [grin]

What: Cowboy Action Shoot

When: Sunday July 12, 2009 10AM - Whenever!

Where: Lee Sportsmen's Association
. 565 Fairview St
. Lee, MA 01238

Safety meeting begins at 9:30am and the shoot will go all day! All shooters of all skill levels are welcome. Even if you don't have the gear, or are interested in finding out more about CAS, get on the pike and head for Exit 2! There will be hotdogs, hamburgers and soft drinks served, along with "Shotty Smith's Panhandle Chili". This is a good excuse for you to come wander around in Berkshire County and get a good look one of the nicest clubs around!

a bit of a run.....

You could alway drive. [rofl]

Well Stoney, I gotta stay in shape some how. And remember ROUND is a shape!

"Polibious
Is this event open to spectators too? In other words, could I come out there with my daughter and just watch?"

I'm not the Match Director but if this match is anything like any of the hundreds of CAS matches I've shot in the last 5 years of so, I'd say sure. Make sure you have eye and ear protection for both you and your daughter.

Overall, "the cowboys" are a real friendly bunch. Just walk up and say howdy and let them know your interested and you'll be in info overload.

As Chuck Would said, It is certainly open to spectators.

Also the discussions last night lead me to believe there are now plans to have six stages. If the turnout isn't good and some of the spectators want to try thier hand at shooting arrangements will be made.

If anyone here makes it out, it looks like I'll be the one with all the money in front of me.

With the NH/VT State shoot that weekend in Pemi and one of the major CT clubs shooting, the turnout might be less than expected sorry to say.

We know, that's why the spectators may get involved.[laugh]

Good plan!

What I like about CAS is that it gets me out shooting at least a couple times a month. I'm a much better shooter today than I was when I started. Made a lot of friends and had a lot of fun shooting.

And I learned the hard way that there isn't a target to big or too close to miss.

The weather looks really nice for this shoot; hopefully, I'll be the guy walking around with a Red Sox Hat (Yeah, real original, I know) and my little girl (My wife got her eye and ear protection) , hope to say hi to some of you.
