Creedmore Air-15

I like Creedmoor, the GM is a former USMC team shooter. I honestly have no idea who they think is going to be buying that. Not to mention you need a scuba tank to fill the air canister?

Features:

*Built around an Anschutz 8001 Junior barreled action; a company known throughout the world for its accuracy.

*Perfectly replicates the length of pull; sight radius; height of rear sight from the comb of the stock; the distance from the butt stock to the rear sight; distance from the butt stock to the front sling swivel; magazine dimensions (Delrin); and the height of the front sight.

*An actual AR15 rear sight - 1/4 min elevation and windage. Takes roughly 4 clicks to move you a scoring ring. There enough travel in the sight to allow for aiming points ranging from sub-six to 12 o'clock in the black.

*An actual AR front sight modified to slip over and clamp onto the barrel sleeve.

*The butt stock and pistol grip are genuine AR-15 parts.

*Anschutz has made the trigger as heavy as possible (700 grams or about 1.5 lbs).

*Air cylinder provides roughly 150 shots per refill and easily fills off a standard scuba tank.

*We anticipate delivery sometime during June or July.

*The prototype is fully machined but the production models will likely be cast and have even more detail than shown here.

*Patent Pending

Ya know, for that kind of money I'd rather get a real air rifle and shoot international matches. I think cross training is better use of time and energy anyways.

I'll bet they sell some, but it will be to the guys who buy absolutely everything that comes to the market in the hopes of improving scores.

David Tubb doesn't have anything to do with this, but he could sell a bag of dog shit if it was labeled "Tubb Buffer Spring Dampener".

$1800 will buy you a top-shelf AR and a case of good ammo.

You're right Pat, there are guys with lots of dough and can't shoot for shit. They think new gadgets will get them to break the 460 mark. [rofl]

You see that all the time with all hobbies: photography, fishing, skiing, you name it. Look at some of the "Liberty Training Rifles", and how it features "mission creep".

Before I got all old and fat, I used to do a great deal of downhill mountain biking - the kind with body armor and what not. I used to see it all the time with guys that would show up with all of the most expensive newest stuff. $15 thousand dollar bikes and crazy accessories that were not evn on the market. It was all very impressive until the crashed it all 100 yards from the start. Good examples of how the best of the best will not necessarily make much of a difference if you just plain suck.
