Deals and steals

Strike Industries Multi-Function End Plate with Anti-Rotation Castle Nut - FDE
$24.99 ($35.99) Price in the cart.

These are cool as they do not have to be staked and have an access hole for installing the takedown pin spring/detent.

Although I will note that I got one recently were the set screw for the takedown hole was unusable and I had to replace it. But I have bought a couple others without issue.

Why does this one part cost almost as much as an entire LPK? What is so special about it?

I bought a couple of these “ammo can” storage units to organize some of my shooting gear. They are well made, comparable to the MTM brand, and the price is very reasonable at $25. Costco shipped them for free. MTM does make a similar set in 50 cal can size, but it’s ~$40 plus shipping.

Picked up two of these and they work great, especially for the price. Fits around 500 .223 in each box (loose or in boxes).

Might pick up some more for general organization.

Super cheap 1-10x FFP LPVO, down to $150 with coupon. Youtube reviews are decent. Lots of online comments about them sucking, mostly by people who haven't used them, but lifetime warranty + free shipping = worth the gamble. Also comes with a pretty decent mount.

There is a side by side with a Razr HD 1-10x on Youtube where it holds its own. Not bad at all for a cheap range rifle.

Use coupon code "AMMOLAND25". Buy the MIL reticle for the larger illuminated circle at 1x (one of the main complaints on Youtube for the MOA reticle).

You're welcome!

I ordered one , it’s on the way from California. At that price I figured why not, I’ll play around with it on my pc carbine and my 10-22 , thanks for the lead.

My Monstrum order just arrived. At first glance, this scope is PHENOMENAL for the $150 price tag, especially with the included mount. Great 1x with large illuminated circle (MIL reticle only), great (relative) 10x clarity that is on par with the 6x of my old Primary Arms SLx 1-6x. Eyebox seems tight (have not mounted yet), but that's what you get with a 1:10 mag range. Should be OK with a good cheek weld.

Good thing I picked up two. Too bad the 25% off coupon is no longer working, maybe someone can find another one. Still a good price at $200, I'm not sure what else on the market competes with these specs. Who knows how they will hold up, but supposedly there's a lifetime warranty.

I found a forum by accident when I was researching where Primary arms had their scopes made that mentioned roughly how much these companies paid for scopes.

I forget the numbers, but basically it was like $50 for a Chinese scope they sell for $500.

So, if Monstrum is using the same factory as some of these companies, it could be the same quality for a lot less.

Let me know next time they are on sale cheap and I will buy one to beat the f*ck out of. Freeze it, drop it, submerge it ...

I just looked around and they still have the 25% off, they just changed the code. The new code is "25MORPHEUS". Comes out to $160.83 with tax, shipped.

How is the fisheye at 1x? I haven’t found a scope yet that delivers a true undistorted 1x, I’d guess this one won’t at the great price point. I may try one anyway.

There is some pincushion distortion at 1x, but it's a true 1x and the edges are fine, so it's a seamless transition from the scope to the real world. Distortion within the sight doesn't matter to me, I'm not running and gunning CQB at 1x.

I wouldn't want it to replace my eyeball, but for a scope it's fine.

Mine came today, I mounted it up on one of my rifles, be careful with the hardware..its cheap metal and the allen wrench they supply doesn't fit all that great at first. The wrench doesn't go very deep into the bolt which could cause some stripping of the head if not careful. So far thats my only gripe, I'm looking forward to trying it out.

I got one for the $149.96 deal. Just got my order tracking email today. Label created. Won’t be long. Thanks for the hardware mounting tip. LMK your thoughts when you get it to the range

Apologies if this was previously posted, but the CZ Tactical Sport 2 is on the Formal Target Shooting Roster.

Looks like there's been a price drop on the TS2 - MPN 01220/UPC 806703012209 - 10 round magazine SKU - has dropped to around $1130 street price. If you purchase a TS2 between 2024-10-01 and 2024-12-31, you can get a $100 rebate.

It's not optics-ready from the factory, so consider this a "roughly free" optics cut from Wager Machine Works.

This seems like a pretty great deal to me!

Edit: Obligatory check with your neighborhood-friendly FFL before ordering because it's the polite thing to do.

I recommend people check with their FFL if they will do the transfer.

Mine came with two allen wrenches. One is a true allen, and the other had a Torx bit. Careful you didn't use the wrong one.
