Deals and steals

For $19, yes.

I have purchased one of these on Amazon and had it delivered to a friends house in another State so he could ship me a shotgun + scoped rifle. No issues.

I also bought a few more when I was moving guns.

They are not the hard case you can throw from a helicopter, but they will survive normal abuse and protect the gun.

FYI, I just clicked that link and they're down to $10. $10.63 shipped and arriving Wednesday. twist my arm deals and steals thread. Screenshot 2024-10-14 at 10.28.40 AM.png

You can't go wrong for 10.

Ordering 3 more because I will need to move everything again pretty soon.
agreed.
last time I saw a used one it might've been 10 bucks. pretty sure it was missing a piece of foam inside too. I don't smoke cigarettes, but see all the signs at the gas stations etc. this is cheaper than a pack of boagies! had to order another, simply just because. I've got one already and they work fine for transport and protection. we're not dropping them out of helicopters as you mentioned, but they fill a specific need well. I'll take this over a Hamilton all day.

Definitely. That's pretty much the use case for these - shipping (inside a box), moving, and a case to use when buying/selling. I think my last one of them went with the rifle I sold a few years ago.

Thinking of replacing all my soft cases with these at that price. That way I can also throw it in the back of the truck too. And they definately fit two small rifles without scopes, like two levers, in one case with padding in between, or even more of broken down O/U or AR's These are great for moving.

The $10 price on these Plano cases is good, $19 not so much. I’m grabbed three for a lightweight range option, starting to hate my Pelican cases for regular use. These are a little long for two of my three vehicles without putting seats down.

Pelican is way overkill for 99% of gun owners imo. I just need something to enclose it during travel and keep it from getting dinged. It's not going to fall out on the highway or out of a helicopter

I have flown with firearms dozens of times and continue to do so regularly. I trust nothing less than a Pelican Protector polypropylene 1700/1720/1750 for air travel. They are overkill for a trip to CGW so I want something lighter. I won’t buy the cheaper Pelican Vault HDPE cases due to their poor performance at high temperatures (I travel to AZ).

I may end up with one of these for CGW trips with my Scorpion and M&P-22.

They can be found cheaper than this.
