Allegedly a sale at Costco coming up in November. No idea whether this is a good deal or not if or the (Im assuming) Costco insider is full of shit or not

I’m not seeing the value proposition on these solar battery units compared to a small gas generator or vehicle mounted power inverter. A Honda 2200 generator is $1300 and runs for 11 hours on one gallon of gas, I used to use mine to power my house (lights, refrigeration, boiler for heat and hot water). On a single 5 gallon gas can it ran for more than 50 hours. I’m sure there is a place for these solar units with the hardcore camping crowd, but I think most these units will sit in the garage/basement and seldom used. They have become the trendy accessory on some of the offroad forums.Looks like other websites also have it on sale.

I Googled it because the original post had no link so I didnt know what a Jackery Explorer was.I’m not seeing the value proposition on these solar battery units compared to a small gas generator or vehicle mounted power inverter. As stated a generator would be the play in that caseI Googled it because the original post had no link so I didnt know what a Jackery Explorer was.
I also don't see the value in paying $1800 for this thing. But I also live in MA, not the middle of nowhere or a place where entire towns can be destroyed by a tornado. So maybe it has a place.
Can't speak to quality, but these were on sale at the Waltham Costco for I think $49.99
Savior Equipment American Classic Double Rifle Bag. Black, or Desert bags available.
I ordered two packs of these. I’ve had a hard time finding decent socks at a good price. My wife got me the Bombas socks, but the heels wear through fast.
I’m spoiled with Darn Tough socks otherwise I would order some.

The Kirkland wool blend socks at Costco have been pretty good. This latest batch reduced the wool content so time will tell if they're as durable as the past ones, but they're still comfortable and well padded.I ordered two packs of these. Size 15 4E here. I quit wearing socks years ago.Socks are tough for me since my feet are size 16 and my legs basically go straight into my feet with minimal tapering. My calves aren’t small and I try to avoid the constriction rings from the elastic, so I need that Goldilocks pair that are long enough for feet, large enough for ankle/leg, durable, and not too tight. I will check Costco and give theirs a shot if they are sized for 16. Thanks.
Costco's socks (57% merino wool) are good for daily use in footwear that you wear regular athletic socks with. Amazon socks (80% merino) are thicker and are better suited for hiking, skiing, camping, and friday night movies. The Kirkland wool blend socks at Costco have been pretty good. You have 48" calves with a 10.5 shoe size?Been there, bruddah. While my shoe is only a 10.5/11, my calves are a 48 or something. Big calves (for no reason) and minimal ankle taper. If I wear over-teh calf socks (which actually stretch nice) the top sock line lasts. . . . . 5-6 hours after I take teh sox off. Even the comfy ones I've got on now - will bother me by 8pm.
This isn't an issue in teh summer. No socks after work, light stretchy dress socks most of the time. But Oct-May - life sucks. I may need to try a sock in a larger size just to fit my legs.

Those worked well for me.I really like the Bombas socks, they fit very well and don’t leave rings. Some pairs seem to last ok while I go through others at the heel in a month or so. No problem wearing them all day.
