I think DPMS makes a decent rifle, but do a little searching. There are some indicators of "slippage" in DPMS QC. I have read everything from loose fitting receivers, to improperly or inadequately staked carrier keys, to improperly cut chambers, to substandard LPK's. Take everything you read on the Internet with a grain of salt, but there's enough out there to at least give incentive to take a close look at the gun before you buy. You will likely be fine and I don't necessarily think you should pass if it's a good deal, but perhaps you can get a look-see inside and make sure all is right with the world.
